Sports Conditioning

Numerous studies have shown that the number one predictor of an injury is a previous injury.  With that in mind, our sports conditioning programs are designed first and foremost to prevent injuries from occurring.  Secondary objectives are to improve athletic and sports specific performance.  


A sports-specific exercise regimen will be developed utilizing various techniques aimed at injury prevention and improving sport performance.  No two athletes are the same and therefore each program is tailored specifically to meet the specific demands of the sport, with the individual athlete in mind.  Factors that may influence the program include: age, physical maturation, gender, overall strength and fitness level, body composition, ability to perform basic movement patterns and emotional condition.  All of our therapists are trained in the FMS (Functional Movement Screen) which assists in injury risk assessment and program development.
